Mercury’s Wings offers ensemble-focused training for actors and creatives at all stages. Drawing on Suzuki actor training and the physical theatre influences of Gecko and Complicité, sessions build presence, discipline, and bold physical storytelling.

The Suzuki Actor Training Method

The Suzuki Method, developed by director Tadashi Suzuki, is a rigorous, physical training approach that restores the actor’s full expressive potential.

It focuses on the whole actor—integrating voice, movement, and artistic expression—without psychological or character work. Instead, the training prepares the performer for rehearsal, where character is explored.

Other Influences

Mercury’s Wings also draws on the physical theatre traditions of companies like Gecko Theatre Company and Complicité, blending ensemble-driven storytelling with strong visual and emotional expression. This approach encourages collaboration, imagination, and a heightened awareness of the body in space, supporting performers to create bold, dynamic work.

Workshops are held periodically throughout the year. Please check Facebook and Instagram for upcoming sessions or message for further info.
